WHAT IS BIBLICAL CHRISTIANITY?
BIBLICAL CHRISTIANITY BEGINS with the belief that God created human beings in His own image, granting us the capacity to have a relationship with Him. However, we rebelled against God and chose to live our lives apart from Him, a concept the Bible refers to as "sin." In exploring the meaning of life, we recognize that this separation has profound implications.
Sin can be likened to visiting an art gallery and entering a room marked with a "Do Not Enter" sign, inadvertently causing damage to a one-of-a-kind, priceless work of art. I lack the means to replace this masterpiece. Even if I had an abundance of wealth, only the skilled hands of its original creator could repair it. Similarly, sin has damaged our relationship with God in a way that only He can mend.
To restore this broken relationship, God sent Jesus Christ to bear the penalty for our sins. Through the gospel of Jesus Christ, if we accept His sacrifice by faith, we are promised complete forgiveness and a renewed connection with Him.
Isaiah 53:6 states, "All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the LORD laid on him the sins of us all."
2 Corinthians 5:21 explains, "For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ."
John 3:16-18 tells us, "For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son."
